I. General Information

II. Course Description

(Prerequisites: BIO 237/247L; Pre- or Corequisite BIO 238) Anatomy and Physiology II Lab is a companion lab to Anatomy and Physiology II Lecture. This course involves a study of the human cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive systems. If a student does not meet the prerequisites for this course, s/he may be dropped from the course at any time during the term.

Students are expected to attend each class. Students who miss the equivalent of six hours of class time may be dropped by the instructor. However, a student wishing to receive a W must formally withdraw through the records office by April 1, 2005.

VI. Grading Procedure

Grading will be based on two semester practical exams worth 100 points each,

and quizzes and other assignments together worth 100 points. The lowest of these

quizzes, or a missed one, will be dropped. There will be NO MAKEUP QUIZZES OR

PRACTICALS! Point total will determine grade as follows:

270-300=A, 240-267=B, 210-239=C, 180-209=D, below 180=F.

Assignments are due the following week unless otherwise specified. There will be a 10 point deduction for assignments turned in up to one week late. Assignments will not be accepted more than one week late.
