This is a 400x view of a dorsal root ganglion (spinal ganglion) showing the ganglion cell bodies (sensory cell bodies) and their surrounding satellite cells. The "spot" in the center of the cell body is the nucleus, with its surrounding clear zone.  Notice the axon fibers as they pass through the ganglion toward from the dorsal root.
