Epididymis 400x (HE stain): Note the pseudostratified columanr epithelium (layers here are not as clear as in the previous slide) which forms the tubule. Here can better see the stereocilia (microvilli) which project into the tubule. Here the  smooth muscle around the epididymis is quite thick. It functions in emission and ejaculation.
