A group of muscle cells innervated by branches from the same neuron constitutes a motor unit, and these cells will function together.
	< 10 cells per motor unit = very precise control e.g. extraocular muscles
	10 to 100 cells per unit =  most muscles, average control
	>100 cells per unit = gross movements, e.g. postural muscles
