Some lab manuals are packaged with the Adam Interactive Anatomy Student Lab Guide and software at a significant savings over the prices when purchased alone.

Grading:

2) 3 on-campus lab practical exams, worth 50pts. each,

for a total of 300 points.

The final grade is based on the points earned out of 200 possible:

294-300=A+,     270-293=A,     267-269=A-

264-266=B+,     240-263=B,     237-239=B-.

234-236=C+,     210-233=C,     207-209=C-.

204-206=D+,     180-203=D,     177-179=D-.

below 177=F.

Attendance and Other Policies:

Attendance

Much of the work, including assignments and some quizzes, can be done either online or in the lab. There will be deadlines which must be adhered to and certain tests which must be taken on campus. These are indicated on the syllabus, as well as the WebCT calendar.  It is the student�s responsibility to be aware of deadlines and to complete assignments on time. All online quizzes are taken via WebCT, and all assignments may be submitted via WebCT or via email or in person. BE SURE TO FIND OUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR'S POLICY ON DEADLINES, AND MAKEUP  WORK. 

 

Availability

The lab rooms are open and available for work on computers, or with models, slides and cadavers with the following stipulations: 

    Lab rooms and materials will not be available when an instructor is using them for quiz or testing purposes.

    Lab rooms and materials will not be available during the period lab practical exams are being given.

 

Withdrawal

Students will receive a WP when withdrawn by April 14, 2006. After that date withdrawal requires a documented medical or family emergency and approval of Dean,  and student will receive WP/WF as appropriate.

Incomplete Grade

Incompletes are not intended to avoid failure or withdrawal and will not be used for that purpose.

Requirements for grade of "Incomplete" (I):

1. Student must have completed more than 50% of the semester's work.

2. Student must have an average of 60% or higher.

3. Student must have a documented family or medical emergency which prevents them from completing the semester.

4. It is expected that the I grade will be made up the following semester (summer excluded).
